Tragedy in Birchbarrow
Tragedy struck in the London Suburb of Birchbarrow this week as an unknown assailant attacked during the mixed community’s first Snow Festival. As the attack happened during the Snow Festival, there were people from all across London in attendance. The attack left 30 individuals dead of varying muggle and wixen heritage and dozens more injured.
The attack has left the community mourning and doing their best to mend after this horrifying tragedy. Birchbarrow is a relatively new community in the London area with a healthy mixture of muggles and wixen. The DMLE has been handed control of the case with muggle authorities being misinformed by protocol due to the possibly and likely magical origin of these attacks.
((OOC Note: This is an open incident. If your character has family or friends who would possibly be in the area, you are more than welcome to have them have been affected at some capacity.))

A lucky find in an Antique Sale in Diagon Alley
A rare 19th century Vanishing Cabinet was discovered at an antique sale in Diagon Alley last weekend. The cabinet unfortunately no longer is operational, but it is still a marvellous example of the earlier models of cabinets. Reports say a woman adorned from head to toe in cat themed accessories who had no less than three live cats with her won the auction.
