Hello, my lovely whisperers! It seems my last bit of whispers stirred up some issues in high places. Let me just say I do not seek any of the information I receive and only report on the anonymous whispers that all of you send to me. I don’t even know if they are true but they are always fun to talk about!
So, let’s get into this week’s pile of Whispers shall we? It’s a rather large stack of owls from all of you.
Holyhead Harpy or Starlet?
It looks like with this first one that the newest member of the Holyhead Harpies just can’t manage to stay out of the limelight! APPARENTLY the flying werewolf was seen being taken into the Ministry on several occasions, escorted by members of both the DMLE and the DFRCMC. Is Persephone Vitrac in trouble or is there more to it? Maybe they are just wanting to know how she bagged the scrumptious Daly so fast. I know I’d love some details on that little tryst.
Holyhead Harpy, Persephone Vitrac was spotted being escorted through the Ministry of Magic, several times this week, both to the Magical Law Enforcement office and that of the Department of Magical Creatures. Is Holyhead’s newest chaser unable to stay out of trouble?
Deal or No Deal?
Oh, this is an interesting whisper here. Someone has sent in one questioning just how the new Minister procured funding for the Hogsmeade repairs, you know, the ones that are taking far too long? Was it something shady and with who? Oh my dear whisperers, if you know more do tell!
There is a rumour going around that the Minister for Magic made a rather questionable deal to procure the funding for Hogsmeade. What exactly did she do and who did she make the deal with? Is this really who we voted in to lead us?
Ah and heres a good light hearted whisper! It seems that one Hannah Wiggins was the cause of that colourful kerfuffle a while back and has been taken into custody for it. Turns out, the potions she was pedding about Diagon turned a whole crowd pink, in case you had not heard. Such a harmless prank I do hope they go easy on the girl. I mean, at least she didn’t turn them all chartreuse! And the darling healers at St Mungos set them all to right in a twinkling.
It’s been gossip around Diagon that Hannah Wiggins was arrested by the Hit Wixen for peddling potions that may or may not have turned a small portion of the alley pink. Pink crowds were queuing in St Mungos for treatment on the matter.
Going by this whisper it seems Hightower is back about in the Ministry. And getting into an argument with the Minister. According to this whisper there was a very loud argument between the two and Hightower left the Minister’s office looking pleased. Merriweather, not so much. Sadly no details on what the argument was about, other than our late beloved Fischer.
An anonymous secretary from the Ministry of Magic has been in touch to say that she heard two women shouting coming from the Ministers office. Hightower was seen exiting the room looking rather pleased with herself while Minister Merriweather was noted as having a thunderous look about her later on. What was said is anyones guess but the name Hannah Fischer was yelled quite a few times.
I do wonder if this whisper ties into the one about the Ritz from last week. It seems the Ministry is pulling Aurors back into the fold from field work. Specifically, the Cadwell siblings, Emrys and Alys. It’s got to be something major to bring these two back in. While they are both good at what they do, they do tend to cause a ruckus at times with their flirting. Let’s hope they can keep it in check while whatever big is going down, goes down! Though if Emrys wants to flirt with someone he can come and see me.
Something super big is going on as the Ministry has pulled the Auror duo of the Cadwell siblings back into London. they are known for both being very good at their job, but also their flirtatious ways.
Ah, here’s a whisper taking us away from Ministry drama and onto more personality ones. It would seem that the pureblood Dechants family’s name is starting to lose its power. Though really it never had as much as they think. BUT apparently now even Shopkeepers in Diagon are threatening to have Consus Dechants of the Wizengamot kicked out of their shop. No word of what he did to cause this though.
The Dechants Family appear to have fallen, the lot of them hardly able to garner respect from even the shopkeeps of Diagon. In fact, it’s been rumoured that one threatened to have Consus Dechants of the Wizengamot itself escorted out. Not a good look for a seat holder.
One last whisper for this round. Though I could hardly call it worth anything. Seems someone named Anthony Kane was forced to leave the States due to muggle tax reasons. Though why any of us should care about that is beyond me. Muggles do as muggles do. Anyone able to whisper to me a bit more about who this is?
Rumour has it Anthony Kane was chased out of the U.S. by the Muggle tax-collectors because he committed tax-fraud.
Want to whisper something juicy to Euphegenia?
