Witchy Whispers has it all
Spain’s a sore spot
Rumour and gossip has surrounded the International Confederation of Wizards and it’s been shocking to see Spain’s political U-Turn on the United Kingdom. Formerly in strong agreement with the nearby country, there’s been whispers that Spain is no longer interested in an alliance now that the new Minister for Magic for Spain, Mariana de Torreblanca, isn’t having any illicit, extra-marital dalliances with a member of the British Ministry staff!
Whilst some countries have been using the International Confederation to build bridges, it looks like Russia’s Fevroniya Sokolova has avoided the pleasantries with rumours only growing about the witch being on the way out in the next election. An affair with a British member of the Ministry of Magic, shady dealings with America, is enough gossip but the Minister was seen stepping into the hotel with what looked like a gruesome foot fungus!! It’s not looking good for Russia!
Rumour is that the Vatican is looking at investigating magic in the surrounding Italy and the Italian Minister, Tristano Tenore, is doing nothing to stop it! With his appearance at the International Summit it looks like he’s been using funds for beautification potions and to revamp his wardrobe instead of saving his people from another Inquisition!
Not one to shy away from the rumour mill, your delicious writer Saffron Foxclaw-Macauley apparently looked happier than she has since her wedding day to have two boys trail after her over the week of the summit. Perhaps she’ll be following in mentor, Pest’s, oversized footprints after all. Or maybe her work experience student will follow in hers by working for The Daily Prophet on graduation?
Soo to Woo?
Minister Soo was spotted as part of the only couple to take the dance floor at the Minister’s Gala in Japan. The woman on his arm? None other than the newly appointed French Minister of Magic, Celeste Devereux. This reporter isn’t quite sure if Minister Devereux is single but the sparks definitely flew between the two of them! Maybe this is another special relationship now that Spain appears to have ditched the Brits.
