Hot gossip, celebrities at their best and worst, fashion faux pas’? The Prattling Pixie has it all
The Daily Prophet and The Ministry of Magic came together to bring some positivity – and money – into people’s lives with the extravagant and elegant Casino Night being a smashing success (in more ways than one!).
Despite the conspicuous absence of the Minister for Magic, Matthew Soo, the rich and famous of the Wizarding World poured into the Ministry on Sunday to splash their cash – all for a good cause, of course!
The ever stunning tabloid fodder that is Persephone Vitrac was seen baring practically all and schmoozing with a married gentleman in bunny ears. Though our photographers weren’t quick enough to capture the elegance of Sebastien Roumieux and his fiance, there were definite whispers that Vitrac was seen making eyes at the latter, maybe there is some merit in the rumours that her and fellow Quidditch Star, Adam Fletcher, are on the rocks?
Despite three exceptional acts put on by the event the main attraction, it appears, was Lark Rosewood of the Department of Magical Games and Sports who put on a less-than-rare performance as the Ministry drunk. The off-duty DMLE present had to almost get involved [pictured] as Ms Rosewood gave a drunken sing song and got into a fight with the comedienne already on stage.
Speaking of the DMLE!
Noma Nyx again wowed the crowd with a raunchy performance earning hoots and hollers though Witch Weekly were rather upset to see Nyx in a more subdued outfit than previous – likely due to the presence of underage wixen serving food to the crowd. From the excitement amongst the crowd our prediction at Witch Weekly may be coming true that the DMLE may need to find a new Witch Watcher as Nyx again reportedly earned more by one night dancing than at all in the last year!
Less famous and more infamous, Gilda Webb was part of the crowd catcalling the cavorting Nyx on stage and, according to Witchy Whispers, there’s been more than a small flame noted between the two. We’d strongly recommend his superiors keeping a close eye on their Witch Watcher, especially as the allegedly light-fingered part-goblin was reported to have left with more money than she arrived, which is more than can be said of any of the other patrons!
