Whilst going through the articles we receive on a daily basis, an Anti Owl Post article caught my eye. Normally, these articles are sent through straight to the Editor in Chief, something I often miss, as I’ve moved to more of a Mentor’s role with the Post. Today however, I felt like finally responding to this writer, and while it might be a long article, I would like to break down what this Ghost writer spoke of, and answer back, accordingly.
“Within the notations spoke such warnings that you, my dearest and nearest enemies. From I, were shown only simple warnings. Must my name be around on such, but it’s a delusion of what and who you think I am. The brains, the eyes, everything you see, hear, speak. You’ve yet to solve it when I already gave you direct answers. To act back towards the one who spoke a message, to the one who attempted to give you all you needed. It is in truth displeasing for both me and you”
Lovely S.E.R.P.E.N., the delusions in this are astounding, as with the things I’ve seen, the conversations we’ve had, and the answers you’ve given me throughout each article. The face behind the name now is so beyond obvious, that I believe you are the only one oblivious in the situation. With each day that passes, you walk freely. Though, if my clues and evidence have pointed me correctly, You have received a just and fiery punishment, the last few weeks.
“Let me give you a couple of thoughts to sink into your little brains that I would be delighted if you paid the slightest attention to this time; I wrote a warning to Ravens, and then they were attacked. I sent an extra special warning to one of those Ravens – now look at the recent Owl Post concerning house-elves. Do you see what I’m telling you? Do you understand what it is I am doing? Someone who writes words – dangerous words – never does it to tell you that they are the danger in the writing. Only the danger in it is you, the reader, yourself.
If you’re still utterly confused, then let me explain myself. I am WARNING, not threatening. I just am warning you of the darkness that strikes at our walls each and every day. We’ve heard it from the Daily Prophet, might I add, that may the wizarding world be afar yet very close. Not even the safest places are safe, no more. I may shed some light to help, but you can’t trust to know if I am that light or dark. I’m just in between, but that’s the hilarious part because if only you knew how to solve a riddle, then, well. You’d have me figured out by now or perhaps not. There is no truth in this matter, only that I am someone with nothing to tell.”
This is where I feel, our beloved Anti Owl Poster writer seems to not grasp the difference between a warning, and a threat. Lovely. You’ve made these claims, you’ve acted out in notes. Each and every note, a ‘Warning’ is never constituted as you so feel you portray. The very fact that you seem to see yourself as a Vigilante; it is quite laughable, a joke now that will never leave this Leader’s head. And while most of our readers might have your riddle go straight over their heads, it just gave me the answer I needed. Now, while I am beyond delighted that I’ve affirmed my beliefs, it is not in me to ever out an anonymous writer. Our freedom to privacy and freedom of speech is important, quite so.
“A former editor gone awol, a new one with a bump on their head, and Middles…oh my dear Middles. Apparently the Owl Post has had some…wrinkles needing to be smoothed out. A tear such as I, could never be fixed. I am something, and I have formed myself apart of you. Not that I would associate myself, though if I did, it would look bad for all of you.
Whoever it is aiming to harm you, it is not I. Nor do I know or am in joint with their allegiance – see I am a separate. A wisp of ink and something that cannot be traced – even if you tried your very hardest, and I know, I see your investigations, however you have failed. Not even in the slightest have you stepped on the ice that breaks into the discovery of it. And if you had, I would not spill.
To my delight I would indeed own up to the mysteries that go on within the castle but they’re not me. How would you prove such? Where is the evidence, if not by writing – there is nothing that could solve the problem. What you need to understand; A name could be written anywhere, though who is to say it is ME who is writing it? As an article said; maybe I am framing those who you believe it to be, placing the evidence on their hands, but really they’re not a threat.
Take your dear time, for you know when that hour comes and when I arrive again with a new message, it will only be yourself to blame for not listening.

Our former editor is still thriving, I can assure you. Rae Katana might be busy with her OWLs and Prefect duties, but she is always present, even if your paths do not meet. Because of this, we did promote Miss Foxclaw to Editor In Chief, a position I feel is justly deserved. As you can fully see, she has been working perfectly, and a bump on her head is nothing our future Leader can’t handle.
What is the most hilarious part of this article, is that you honestly feel you have separated yourself from us. You, who submitted this article, hoping it could skate by without my notice. You hold yourself on a higher pedestal than I’d ever assumed possible, lovely S.E.R.P.E.N. . This ‘wisp’ as you see yourself, is also rather delusional, as I’ve stated before; no person would ever admit their faults, their guilt, and now, the ‘infamous’ TBHS seems to have helped in trying to steer this darkness that you bring, away from the situation.
As a final note, ‘mysterious’ writer, do not underestimate me. This is my final year, but I will not stand to have my precious Owl Post besmirched because of a child like you. One more article from you, and I will most certainly expose you. I will, however, fully accept an apology, and will completely give you a second chance. Carte Blanche. This is a black or white situation, and nothing grey about it. So please choose wisely.
