As we say goodbye to our Editor, we can’t help but feel a mix of pride and sadness. She’s been the captain of the Owl Post, always bringing new ideas and inspiring us to do our best, but also, she’s served as our Quidditch commentator, making us laugh and cry at times. Mostly from bad jokes and rambling. Even though we’ll miss her a lot, we know she’s off to do great things. Thanks for everything, Leonora!

Dear Leonora,
As you prepare to embark on the next chapter of your life beyond the walls of Hogwarts, I want to take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary journey you’ve had and express my admiration for all that you’ve accomplished.
From the first day that I met you, your quirky and vibrant spirit has been a delightful and unique presence in our school. I believe one of my earliest memories regarding you involved something you called… The Great Pumpkin?
Your enthusiastic and colourful commentary during Quidditch matches brought a new level of excitement and engagement to our beloves sport, making each game an unforgettable and at times necessarily moderated experience. Your dedication as the editor of the Owl Post has also kept the Hogwarts community informed and enteratained, showcasing your exceptional talent for journalism of a… rather unique and conspiracy-centric nature. Your tours to new students and your extensive… passion for our school has left a lasing impression on many and you have demonstrated that one can be both dedicated and authentic, as no one could ever doubt that you are certainly true to yourself.
Miss Clements, your unique and creative spirit has certainly impacted our community in countless ways. As you move forward into new adventures, I am confident that you will continue to bring your distinctive charm and enthusiasm to everything you do.
I look forward to hearing about the wonderful things you achieve in the future.
Wishing you all the best in your future,
Abaddon Blightly-Osborne O.M.1
Roses are red, Violets are blue. Thanks for all your hard work. Toodaloo.

Thank you for bringing biscuits to the Owl Post meetings. And thank you also for not teasing me because I thought it was Owl Club and that it involved owls. That is why I brought my owl, Wobble, to the first meetings I went to. Obviously it is not Owl Club where we all have owls, and at first I was disappointed. But writing for the Owl Post has made my English much better so thank you for that. And the biscuits. It will not be the same without you.

Nora, it’s been a great time being your dorm mate! It’s been real, I hope you finally clean out the pumpkins in our dorm, and don’t forget us. May you have the brightest pumpkin filled future ❤️
Siren Resling
Hello Nora! I’ve only known you for a few years, but I always loved your commentary out on the field, and the snail races, too! I wish you all the best when you graduate!
Reika DuBois
I never thought I’d be interested in the newspaper or anything, but you made it sound fun and gave me a chance to help with just doing photos, and took a risk when I offered to write too. It is surprisingly much fun. So yeah thanks for taking me in, mate and letting me try out this thing I thought it’d suck at. I can’t wait to see what you end up doing, pretty sure I’ll hear your voice through the speakers at some big Quidditch match or read your game news in the newspaper, but no matter what you do, I got no doubt you’ll rock it and show people how much fun it is. See ya, mate!
Jamie
It has been fantastic working with you on articles these many years. You helped me realize I could write more then just recipes.
Marigold
Hey Nora!
Good luck with graduating and everything. It’s been real fun and stuff working with you on the Owl Post. I hope you get to be a professional better/bookie/whatever or a professional quidditch announcer or a super cool reporter. Then we can read about you in the prophet or something. Anyways, I hope you have a good adult time and don’t forget about all of us. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of your pumpkins.
Reese
Nora thank you so much for your dedication to the Owl Post. Thank you for showing me around in my first year. If it wasn’t for your tour I would’ve gotten lost so easily. I’m going to miss the snail races and I’m gunna miss placing bets on the upcoming Quidditch Matches. I’m gunna miss the pumpkins that stay way too long in our commons after Halloween. But most importantly I’m going to miss you.
Leilani Tamriel
We will miss you. Also I think you were short on my bet winnings during that one match I bet on?
Oliver Letsworth Prescott
Dear Nora,
Well, it’s that time of year again, the time when we bid adieu to our graduating seniors, and we’re left wondering who will fill the void of chaos you’re leaving behind.
From the moment I stepped foot in owl post office, Nora, it was clear you weren’t here to blend into the tapestries. No, you were more like a fireworks display in a sea of gloomy black robes. Your energy is infectious, your wit sharper than a tack, and your ability to talk someone out of their left arm is both impressive and only slightly alarming.
Let’s talk about your illustrious career as Hogwarts’ very own bookie. Quidditch betting pools? Genius. You managed to fleece the entire student body out of their pocket change faster than a Niffler in a galleon factory. And don’t even get me started on your Quidditch commentary. Sure, you couldn’t catch a Snitch if it had a neon sign attached, but by Merlin’s beard, you could talk about it like you invented the sport.
Then there’s your role as the editor of the owl post. Communication at Hogwarts wouldn’t be half as efficient if it weren’t for your tireless efforts. And who could forget your noble crusade to save innocent pumpkins from a gruesome fate? I’m pretty sure you single-handedly convinced half the castle to join your cause, or curse the day they ever smelled a pumpkin six weeks past ripe.
But for all your bluster and bravado, Nora, there’s a heart of gold beneath that loud exterior. Despite your claims of having few friends, you’ve touched more lives at Hogwarts than you realize. Your loyalty, your kindness (however well hidden it may be), and your unwavering spirit make you one of a kind.
As you prepare to embark on the next chapter of your journey, remember to take a piece of Hogwarts with you wherever you go, I think there are some loose bricks around the courtyard. And maybe leave behind a few tips on how to run a successful betting pool, I could use the extra galleons. We’ll miss you, Nora, but we know you’re destined for greatness.
With equal parts fondness and mischief,
Lilee Morris
Gonna miss you Nora! Those Pros have no idea what is coming for them if you stay in commentary. All the best!
Lex Ashworth
Sorry for almost crushing your head with a Buldger. Your commentary has always been amusing and your future will be just as bright.
Rajaht C. Bakshi
Good luck in you future endeavors Nora, will miss your commentary.
Raimy Sarr
You’ve always done a great job. Thought your commentary on Gryffindor and Hufflepuff was a little too embellished. Hope to hear more from you from the stands.
JD Johnathan Deca Garcias
Commentary was bloody legendary mate. Gonna miss your quips.
Greyson Bishop
As the quidditch announcer, you have spoiled us by providing quick play by play and entertaining side comments. I missed your personality when you were on break and was ecstatic to welcome you back the next year. I hope you’re offered a position announcing pro games, and you grab it!
Caitlin Spector, Hufflepuff Chaser
Dear Nora,
As we both prepare to bid farewell to Hogwarts, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest admuiration for your unwavering enthusiasm throughout all your Quidditch commentaries. Your talent has not only brought the games to life but has also inspired all of us, players, or spectators, creating vivid pictures of all matches, as well as a fun challenging atmosphere that will remain in my memory. Your insightful analysis and infectious passion for the sport, even your -sometimes- too partial comments for badgers , showed your dedication to the sport and your unparalleled talent, both on and off the pitch. I’ll leave Hogwarts with lots of gratitude for having had the privilege of playing Quidditch under your watchful eye. You been probably the only one counting out all the bludgers i took over the years… So in my own name, and, as the eagles’ Captain, for my team, i just wanna say a big “Thank you” for being such a wonderful “voice of Quidditch” at Hogwarts for all those years !
Caralia Lane (Ravenclaw captain)
