In a photo-op that was described as “Distasteful, disrespectful and utterly hot” by Witch Weekly’s Jessica Thompson, young Quidditch Heartthrob Jenson ‘Loverboy’ Barnett of the Appleby Arrows paid emotional tribute to slain former teammate Haisley Rothenberg, alongside whom he won the European Cup just last summer.
In the picture, the Quidditch star and calendar model is seen kneeling in what appears to be a public cemetery while looking soulfully up at the sky, perhaps seeking a sign from his fallen friend and potential love interest. The photo was shot in black and white which, aside from highlighting the Quidditch star’s chiselled abs and sculpted jaw, serves to remind us of death.
When asked about the photo, Loverboy had this to say:
“I was just out walking when I saw this graveyard, and it got me thinking about Hais, yeah? So I just had to take a knee and feel it – you know, the moment. Because that’s what I think life is when you really think about it, you get me? A long series of hot moments. I’m just glad the camera man and the crew were there to capture it because it was such a real experience, you know? Raw.”
Also seen in the picture is Jenson’s underwear, on the waistband of which the name Gabriel is featured repeatedly. Was this a silent tribute to recently deceased Swedish celebrity Gabriel Engström? It has yet to be confirmed, but this reporter thinks: Yes!
