Dear Elliott

You’ve managed to be my Prefect/Head boy for 3 years now without making me hate you. That alone speaks volumes about how great of a guy you are, but since you’re leaving I’ll give you a little more;
You’re an amazing Quidditch player and I enjoyed every second of thrashing the other houses with you.
Your dedication to Slytherin has been second to none even though everybody would have understood if you didn’t care this year.
I’ve been proud to have you as a school champion, and even though they screwed you in the end, you still won in my eyes.

I’m going to keep this brief because there’s a good chance you won’t even be able to read this yourself when you get it and the thought of having my words read in Nazari’s awful, shrill voice is disgusting to me.
You’ve (unimpressively) managed to be the least obnoxious Head girl we’ve had since I got here, though I suspect that’s mostly just because you don’t have the awareness to catch opportunities to be annoying as they pop up.
Still, good job.
I suppose I should probably also thank you for supporting Elliott, which it seems like you did adequately.
I wish you luck in whatever you do next, knowing that you will probably need it.

I shared more classes with Emily and knew her a bit better, but I still consider both of you friends.
