To our head boy and our head girl we thank you. Thank you for all the times you’ve spent throughout these years, especially this last one, holding our hands while we wandered aimlessly through these corridors. Thank you for always being there to lend an ear while we fussed over homework and exams. Thank you for all the advice you gave and all the lectures you gave. We appreciate everything you’ve done for us and we wish you many more adventures. Hogwarts will always be your home and we your family.
To give you something to part with, here’s a few words from those who have grown to know and care about you throughout the years.
To Aisling: You have been one of the most helpful people this year due to things that have happened. You were great to go to during the rough times and you helped us no matter what our house was. I will surely miss having you around.
To Archie: Thank you a lot for what you have done to keep as many of us snakes in line. I hope you and Ais have a wonderful time outside of school!
-Abigail Bluetooth
To Aisling: This was the year we truly bonded, I think. You went from the best friend of my best friend, to also being my best friend. I don’t know how I will get by without you reminding me not to bite the heads off of first years or without our sleepovers in the art room or the tapestry corridor. I know this isn’t goodbye, as we’ll be friends for as long as we both shall live, but this parting is still sorrowful and I’ll miss you dearly.
Archie, We’ve not spoken much, so I there isn’t much I can say. But I sincerely appreciate the work you’ve done as head boy, giving Slytherin a good name. Thank you for pulling the slack left behind by…. Others. And take care of the redhead or you’ll have an angry wolf on your tail.
-Persephone Vitrac
To Aisling – Thank you for everything you’ve done for us not only this year, but every year. For being a shoulder for the younger years and for instilling confidence in us who doubt their abilities. Good luck and I expect a signed copy of your book when it’s done!
To Archie – Thank you for keeping us prefects in line – especially at meetings. I look forward to seeing what you do in the future!
-Johanna Carstairs
I can’t even imagine how it must be for the both of you knowing that this really is your last year as a student at Hogwarts. I have know doubt that you both have a library full of memories; some good, some bad and some just meh. These will carry with you both through to your old age. Moments to reflect on and say… “Remember that time when…” As you prepare to leave these hallowed halls I just want to say that it was my own great pleasure to have known you both and to have called you friends. You will forever be a part of the tapestry of my own memories and I am very glad that you have been. Wherever you both end up over the coming years, please know that you will be missed and that you have had a positive impact on others. I wish both of you the very best for happy lives in the future.
-Jayden Lukas
To Aisling, I’m so glad we got to spend a bit more time together this year. I very much admire your compassion, patience, and willingness to help your fellow students. Please don’t loose that!
To Archie, Good luck to you! Also still sorry about scaring you with the surprise father visit. It was funny, though.
-Bonnie Nishi
Aisling,
Thank you for being the ear and shoulder that I have needed over the years. I will do my best to use the lessons that you have taught me. Keep us posted on the art work! I want to buy your book.
Archie- I am amazed at you. From the first day of meeting you, you have always pushed me to think harder and more critically than any other person I have ever met. Thank you for that. I know that you will change the world.
-Essa Nazari
I can’t believe you guys are leaving us! Archie, take good care of my hufflesis! And please consider me for a junior bridesmaid for your wedding. I’m too old for flower girl now.
-Talula Shippe
Good luck on your future endeavours. May you find your path in life.
-Lynessa O’Connor
Miss Jones, Mr Archibald, It’s with great pleasure that I wish you luck with things to come. You have both been exemplary students and even more as head boy and girl. Hogwarts is truly going to miss you both. Please believe in all you dream in and never give up.
-Professor Juniper Green
I have not seen a finer Head Student such as Aisling Jones in almost three years, I wish her all the best. And Archie also.
-Professor Danica Priaulx
I would like to also extend a special gratitude to our Head Boy and Girl; Archibald Colquhoun and Aisling Jones. Our Head Boys and Girls, of years passed, have gone on to do great and astounding things and I would like us all to take a moment to thank them for their hard work.
-Deputy Headmistress Aoife O’Keeffe
