A small note seems to have been slipped in with the articles, and seems to have been rushed to be published while her editor wasn’t looking.
A letter from the Head Girl,
This past week, my editor in chief and best friend, and so many of my friends really went out of their way to make sure I knew I was loved. You all have no idea how much it made me smile , and how floored I was with each article. The party had me sobbing with the biggest smile on my face.
My years at Hogwarts had so many ups and downs. With all the chaos and drama, the fights, the bloodshed..the castle falling apart..well, there’s also been so many amazing moments, and so much of it, is because of everyone in our school.
Thank you Saff, especially. This whole thing really melted my heart, and I’ll miss joking with you in the office and coming up with puns. I know you’ll take care of the Owl post wonderfully, along with our newest leader under your wing, Tara.
So many of you wrote hoping I’d keep in contact, to not forget you, and hoped that I’d remember even the youngest in our halls. You all have touched me just as much as you’ve said I touched you though, and there’s so many memories I’d refuse to forget. I’ll always be around, even if you don’t see me, I’ll always find ways of keeping in touch, and making sure to check in, though i know you all will make so many more memories, and friends and experiences.
Thank you again for making me feel so loved and appreciated, it was most certainly a surprise, and really made my graduation so bittersweet.
