August 6th, at mid-afternoon a storm came creeping in and raged through the evening, bringing the tides so high that it took over Brighton Bay. That is not all that the storm brought in. When you have an angry ghost in a blood covered bridal dress yelling about on the board walk, you can be sure it turned a few heads.
Worrying many of the tourists that gathered Brighton Bay, shouting such things as something burned their flesh nor that the sea could help us, would definitely send a few tourists packing and out of the town! [This gossiping owl plans on sticking around for more, have no fear!] The fear struck and sobbing ghost bride would go on about that “They’re Coming.” constantly. Who is this that is coming? Something from her past? Is it even something we should worry about? Some of the younger tourists did not even budge when she would screech and chase them off the boardwalk, or even tried to out of the shops. The blood soaked bride would give one last warning before she disappeared into the sea, pointing in the direction of the washed up dragon skull on the beach.
The tides dwindled down to their normal and indeed the shores had items washed upon them. A closer look you will find what seems to be two skulls and wedding chairs. A dingy water logged old issue of the daily prophet rested beside the scarce scene for all to witness. The Article Reads:
Brighton Bay Ruined by Dragon!
APRIL 1ST 1912.
The town of Brighton Bay was laid waste yesterday to a Dragon of epic proportions. It appeared the Dragon had returned for unknown reasons. Witnesses account to the town being engulfed in flames. One incident of the wedding of Fiorella Hummingtwine and Albert Grumblestink. Witness testimonies state that the entire wedding slaughtered within minutes. The attendants being ravaged by flames. Some question why magic wasn’t used to protect the town however, reports indicate that there was no time.
The Ministry has caught and put down the Dragon, its species not being revealed.
God rest the souls of those who perished.
Could the dragons be coming back? Or will they come back as ghosts just as the blood soaked Fiorella Hummingtwine did? If they did would they be able to be defeated as they once, were 110 years ago? With a keen eye, you would notice the article says April 1st. As history shows this is a day of pranks on the fooled minds to fall for it. Are we witnessing something that is of the truth or just a prank coming back to haunt the shores of Brighton Bay that went awry?
