Time After Time… Capsule

I realize this article is rather late in coming but, there’s been a lot going on this month so being unable to sleep I got it written.

All January as I reported a while back the castle was shaking. Turns out, it was cause the castle was, for lack of a better term, giving birth to a new room.   Well “new” as it was last made and sealed up magically 500 years ago.

After it burst open in the dungeons and some work with a riddle to find the key to a door inside,  A big seal was found  in the second room of the cavern.

A seal over a time capsule! Filled with letters and items from students and staff at Hogwarts in the year 1530. Magically made to vanish and reappear in 2030!

Inside it were dozens of letters and items from the past. I asked around and learned what a few people got but this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I did not manage to pull out a letter, and only got a handful of rotten sweets when I reached it. But Thanks to Toby of Gryffindor I got the most exciting, to me, item in the box. A letter from my ancestor! Orris Feathersweet, he talked of wanting to become a candy maker and included to very old medieval sweets recipes.  I talked to my Papa about it and Orris was the one who started the whole Feathersweets Confectionery! 

Some other items I know got pulled out , Caspian Ashworth got the 1530 Quidditch world cup. Several people got copies of Beadle the Bard. I think maybe it had just been published?  A lot of people also got rotten sweets. I kinda feel like maybe that was my Ancestors falt. SORRY  Some people got REAALLY old underpants.  Lots of letters from students and some with names attached we know.  Like Fox and Delaney.

And one person got a puzzle box reported to have been made by Merlin himself!  Which is just mind blowing! I wonder if it will ever be solved.

So thats the mystery of the shakes. Just a look into the past of Hogwarts, Maybe in time we can all put our own items back into the capsule and seal it up for another 500 years.
