In a phenomenal turnout of voters, the wizarding public has majority voted that they DO NOT wish to continue to negotiate with Goblinkind. This follows the explosive news that the Ministry of Magic are eventually moving forward with minting new coins.
64% of voters voted “no” though there was a unparalleled turnout for young wixen, with under-20s contributing a massive 34% of the total voting results, and providing 54% of the “yes” votes
Any goblin-made currency that is currently in circulation will not be removed from circulation and will be the last goblin currency used by The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Gvozdic to Face Trial
A date has eventually been set for the trial of Dragomir Gvozdic, former Headmaster of Durmstrang Institute, accused of the murder of Matvey Golovin, also former Headmaster of Durmstrang Institute.
The trial will be held over the course of two days due to the media attention and is reportedly to be held in an open Wizengamot court.

Goblin gets off scot free!
An altercation occurred early in the voting week with Three Broomsticks owner, Jade Troll, and part-Goblin, Gilda Webb both being arrested for breach of the peace, property destruction, and battery
Part-Goblin, Gilda Webb appeared before the magistrate on Friday afternoon and pled Not Guilty, claiming she acted in self defence. In a shock move the Wizengamot Magistrate agreed and allowed her to leave with no further charges.
Jade Troll will face the Wizengamot on 5th June at 11.30

DRCMC Saving the Day
Whilst Dementor sightings have been seen to increase over the last few weeks there has been a sharp reduction in life altering attacks as the Patronus classes held by the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures have been seen to be a wild success
With more wixen being trained in the Patronus charm it is hoped that the rate of attacks will remain low.
