“As many of you are aware, the school is being overtaken by a parasite which considers itself the castle. I know you are scared. I know many of your voices have been taken. I stand with you. I promise you, I will protect you and reclaim our home.”
The pipe organ has struck again, taking voices and people alike. We do know these things, it seems to be posing as the castle who claims that it is tired of just being our home. It takes things by touch and by being splashed by blood. And we know that it can mimic other people’s voices–even those who are not here to draw its victims closer into its grip. We know that it has taken at least one Gryffindor, one Hufflepuff, and perhaps two professors. We also know it has taken voices of several of our classmates.
There is much we don’t know and, frankly, it is okay to be scared. This is a new threat to our school that is so different than the threats we have faced together as a school. But, there is one thing I do know. If we stand together, we will overcome it. We have a rather impressive history of overcoming the strangest of things, but remember, this to will pass. We will overcome it. Heed the advice that the Deputy Headmistress gave us.

-Travel only in groups
-Avoid anyone you hear but cannot see
-Do not touch anything which looks like it may be part of an organ.
