The Outside on the Inside – Transfiguration Courtyard
Hey there mates! It’s your one and only Jamie here ready to show you around this brilliant place called Hogwarts. No matter if you are a new student or have gone here for years, you might find places you have not been to before, be it because there was no reason to go there or they just got bored from their old location and moved. Yep, that happened! Just this week several doors did that as you might have noticed. In this series – at least I hope it’s one, what do you say Nora? – I’ll be showing you some interesting or important places around our current ‘home’.
My very first article is about our Transfiguration Courtyard – also known as the Middle Courtyard. Why? It’s just a courtyard. Yep, but it is the only courtyard you can visit after curfew. Neat, right? If you are like me you like to be outside and we all know that the doors to the grounds and other outside areas are closed and locked at 8 pm. But if you get the urge for fresh air and some greenery, climb on a tree or lay down in the grass you can go here. Because this courtyard is enclosed within our walls I like to call it the ‘outside on the inside’.
Maybe I’ll see you there!
