I spent the past week hunting down- I mean asking the Gryffindor Prefects about themselves so everyone can get to know them! Let’s take a look at the prefects leading the lions! We’ll get down to the knitty gritty! I put together all of their interview answers into neat little profiles for them all!
Name: Alasdair Blackwood
Year: 6
Favourite Honeydukes Sweet: He doesn’t like sweets. He is a freak.
Favourite Class: Muggle Studies
Favourite Spell: Quackers
Favourite Quidditch Team or Duelling Club: He hates quidditch. He likes the gryffindor dueling club.
Who Would They Feed to a Dragon: Kulaan D. Dragon – dragon cannibalism!
Most Hexable Professor Vote: Hellstar
Alasdair is a sixth year prefect who comes from a long line of purebloods who became a prefect “because he could”, as he told me. He told me his family is a family of the highest social empire – whatever that means. He was born and raised in Inverness at Blackwood manor with his 5 other siblings. Woah, and I thought being a triplet was a lot. Six kids?! This is his first time being a prefect, and he has confirmed that Jayden Lukas sleeps with a broom up his butt AND werewolves WILL eat us if we go out after curfew. He’s told me that we should just do anything he says and to never do what Jayden Lukas says. When I asked if he’s ever gotten in trouble at school, he said no but he really meant yes.

Brianna is a sixth year prefect. She’s had an older sister who was in Gryffindor too! Neat! She’s clearly the most responsible Gryffindor prefect, and she told me the most important rule is to never go into the forbidden forest because it’s dangerous. She could not verify the claim that werewolves will eat us if we stay out after curfew, but she did say werewolf bites are lethal most of the time. However, as she’s told me she once got locked out of the school after curfew during her third year and had to sleep in the clocktower courtyard, I would say she has not been attacked by werewolves after curfew… or has she!? Anyway, this is her second year as a prefect, and she’s excited for this year.
Name: Aloy Osiris, Prefect, Dueling Champion of 2027, role model.
Year: 5th
Favourite Honeydukes Sweet: She loves chocolate and anything chocolate.
Favourite Class: Charms and DADA.
Favourite Spell: Bombarda. She likes watching things explode. She likes big, flashy spells that bring everyone’s attention. It’s useful too – especially if annoyed with someone. Don’t write that down.
Favourite Quidditch Team or Duelling Club: Sea Serpents because they want to recruit her

Aloy is a fifth year prefect from Kensington, London. Her mother is the head of Magical Education for the ministry, and her cousin is Jamie Koslarevic, who I have been told I should embarrass. She became a prefect because she wanted to pull rank, and said anyone who knows her knows that’s true. Aloy has asked that we simply just do not give her a headache. She hopes to join the super cool and upcoming Sparks club that her friend is starting up soon – find out more soon! When I asked if she had ever been in trouble at school, Aloy told me no, she was an angel… just don’t ask Tom, Talula, Alasdair, Jamie, O’Keeffe, Green, Blightly, any of the professors, any of the staff or any of the students older than the age of 13 about it. Aloy is an angel. Her Favourite first year is Eric Hyland.

Year: 7
Favourite Honeydukes Sweet: Crystalline Pineapple
Favourite Class: Magical Theory, Potions, Charms and DADA (Nerd, I asked for one, maybe I should have asked what class he DOESN’T like?!)
Favourite Spell: Any transfiguration- especially ones that let him turn people into skunks or badgers (Weirdly Specific? I guess he likes skunks and badgers???)

Jayden is a seventh year prefect in his second year as one. He’s from a very old pureblood family whose family tree goes back hundreds of years. He’s my cousin from my grandpa’s side. He was born in Scotland and raised in a magical village named Myrrdinshire along the shores of Loch Shiel. He’s in the Owl Post, Dueling club and hopes to make the quidditch team. When I asked if there were any rules, he lectured me about responsibility and not going into the forest.
