Hi, Hestia Withka here, bringing you the gossip from the Quidditch Pitch. I’ve been chasing down the captains, no pun intended …well maybe it was. I suppose we get on with the first interview. Jayden Lukas; Captain for the Lions.
Now, I’m no snitch, but our interview began as soon as I cast the scouring charm upon Jayden. It’s safe to say, he was thankful……back to the point, I asked Jayden what he thinks makes him a great captain and what makes him stand out from the others?
Jayden replied, and I quote, “I am better than my predecessors and the best Captain ever.”
Jayden also told me he wishes to bring out the best in his teammates, while stating that he will do anything to lead his team to victory.
I went on to ask if there’s any player outside of Hogwarts, he supports, and if anyone had inspired him. Jayden’s told me he was able to attend the Quidditch World Cup during the summer.
“I would hope that our plays will be as surprising and noteworthy when our first game comes up in December.”
Yes, everyone, you heard it. Keep your eyes on teams England and Ireland. Jayden has said, these are the teams he wants to be on par with. Maybe those plays by Gryffindor won’t be so surprising or noteworthy afterall!
As the interview continued, I asked Jayden on his views in regards to bad behaviour, how he shall deal with teammates who find themselves into trouble. When asked if he would kick them off the team, he told me;
“People express themselves and it can even help if people have an ear to vent to.’’
What could this possibly mean? That Jayden encourages bad behaviour? I’d keep an eye on those lions, with Jayden at the front, Gryffindor look to take it all or nothing at all. Wow!
Watch out lions, next week I have the exclusive with the Ravenclaw captain. They might just shove you out of that spotlight!.
Signed
