Arithmancy (All Years)
Professor Rask (Valent1ne Apogee)
Construct a bridge using a provided set of balsa wood, 12″ x 4″ in dimension. The height is up to your design choice. You may use magic as an adhesive, but may not magically strengthen the wood itself. The bridge will be tested by hanging a weight on the centre point as it is suspended from scaffolding, so supports to the ground from the middle will not work either. You may work alone or in groups of 2-4, more than 3 RP posts per person included in the notecard. To test your bridge, first roll arcane – heth. If it passes, then it successfully holds 150 pounds. Continue rolling going up the difficulty (teth, yod, etc) until it fails – https://mischiefmanagedsl.net/cast-bar-and-dueling/ ). Each successful roll would add 10 pounds.
