I graduated from the Hufflepuff House and there was a bit of a running joke among my family because I was constantly working with different animals.
I spent a good bit of my time after I graduated from Hogwarts travelling the world and learning about magical creatures who serve as our familiars and the past eight years I’ve been travelling around the United Kingdom with my daughter. Helping getting pet stores back onto their feet. I ended up returning to Hogsmeade to run the pet store because–well–to be honest, I needed my family’s help in raising my adopted daughter.
Okay, so enough about my current living situation. I always knew that I wanted to do something with animals so I focused my classes in on care of magical creatures, herbology, charms, and transfiguration. I feel like the higher the scores that you have within care of magical creatures will help you the best because then you can anticipate what the various animals need. And they have a lot of different needs. Habitat, food, water, shelter, physical, mental, and emotional. I hope this helps a little bit. And if anyone at Hogwarts has an animal needs please do not hesitate to come by the pet store during Hogsmeade weekend or send an owl and I’ll be able to send you a package with your pets needs.
