Most of the students who have been at Hogwarts for more than a year know the reputation of Adam Fletcher and Kamila Bullstrod. Even after many detentions and loss of hundreds of points, the Headmaster decided to select this devious duo as our Head Boy and Head Girl. As one would imagine, this caused a stir among the students and the faculty alike but the Headmaster held firm in his decision. Little did anyone know how Sytherin’s most notorious students would rise to the occasion and answer Oreyn Barthatimus Fox’s calling. Kamila and Adam led the student body through, in this reporter’s opinion, one of the most turbulent years at Hogwarts and now at the conclusion of this school year, we see the wisdom of the Headmaster’s decision made evident by the affectionate farewells to Adam and Kamila from the students and faculty.

“When I first began thinking about what I would say to the Head Students, especially Kamila Bullstrod, I found my writing riddled with clichés about school and friendship, discovering how difficult it truly is to describe how much you mean to me. I’ve sat down countless times in the Great Hall, with a large amount of crinkled parchment and frustrated, trying so hard to break through this writer’s block. Part of this is because I’m scared to admit how truly sad I am to know that this is the last time I will see Kamila wandering down the halls, instilling fear or mothering the underclassman. While another part of me has so much trouble finding the right words to explain how beautiful of a magical being you truly are. Regardless of your time here Kamila, you have been one of the most understanding, supportive, and brilliant people I have met at Hogwarts.
There’s no one else who can make me laugh so hard that my sides actually begin to writhe with pain, and never will I meet someone with such superb fashion skills. I’m going to miss the countless hours we spend together attempting to do our homework — only for one of us to break into a mini fashion show, strutting their stuff down the Dueling Room platform. I do not know what I am going to do without you these next two years, but here’s to an amazing future and to a lifelong friendship!
