The Wizengamot, The British Ministry of Magic’s High Court of Law, is delighted to extend an invitation to all students. On the 26th of May, a Mock Wizengamot Trial will be convened, offering a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the Ministry of Magic’s judicial system.
This event is to be coordinated by the Wizengamot Administration Services, who have meticulously crafted a fictional case to challenge, enlighten, and educate participants. The roles to be cast are; the accused, the witnesses, the esteemed members of the Wizengamot, and the magistrate. The proceedings shall be presided over by Alastair Colquhoun, the Sitting Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.
Students wishing to partake will receive house points for their time and are encouraged to fill out the application form which will be provided by their respective Heads of Houses.
Further details are to follow.
Students who do not wish to take part are welcome to attend as ‘Court Watchers’. |
