- May only be done by adults, for specific spells, and those spells have to be mastered.
- The button to cast wandlessly will always be in the HUD next to the “nonverbal” option for adults but attempts to cast unqualified spells wandlessly will always result in a failure or crit failure.
- The spell journal has been updated with a “wandless” indicator if the spell meets the qualifications for your character.
- Wandless magic still requires being in proximity of your wand.
- This means if your wand is confiscated, magic is effectively turned off for you (since you can’t brew either).
- This should also be RP’d appropriately. If you aren’t in proximity of your wand but it hasn’t been disabled in your HUD you still shouldn’t be casting at all.
- Wandless magic must be done with a hand gesture of some variety. You can’t just control things with your mind.
- Using a verbal incantation for wandless magic is optional.
- Wandless magic is very drastically underpowered vs spells done with a wand.
- If you duel someone who is using a wand and use wandless magic you will get wrecked.
- Wandless vs wandless dueling is possible but the winner is basically random.
- Wandless magic must also follow the wiki guide.
- Special notes may be added to wandless qualified spells indicating specific effects which may be different from when casting with a wand. Be sure to check the wiki before casting as clarifications may be added.
- As always, if you didn’t roll it, you didn’t cast it.
