I had brought my mum’s old monopoly board to try and play with new friends. However, I found out that it is a banned item. I do want to play it with people but what do I do?

You have to do what all good kids do when they have a banned item…. You play it anyway and hide it. There are many rooms hidden around the castle to do a little Banned fun. Even better, find the caretaker’s office and get more banned fun.

The professors seem to give out a lot of homework? How do I keep up on everything and practising spells?

There’s is only one solution to this. Make friends with a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. These bookworms will be So excited for new friends they will of course help you with that homework, if you are really lucky, they will let you practice your spells on them. If that doesn’t work, find a Slytherin or a lion and get them upset and come at you, then you can practice your spells there, though be careful, those lions might actually hit first, rather than cast. My roommate snores soooooo bad. I’m not sure how the others sleep. I’ve had to take naps during the day but I’m still tired. What do I do?

Dear Can’t,
I know that pain, living in dorms, you have to suffer the sleep habits of your housemates. Silence charms aren’t always available. You could of course go to the greenhouses and find some rubbers to stuff in your ear… or you can bribe a house elf to move the offending Snoozer to somewhere far away from your dorm… like the boat house.
