Although it’s Summer-time, the students and members of the Owl Post are always working to keep you connected. Homes and especially your bedrooms, as everyone knows, are places of sanctuary and privacy, where you can truly express yourself. A person’s home shows how their everyday life goes, and their bedrooms speak volumes about their personalities. So, we’re visiting and showcasing the homes, bedrooms, and even yards of our dear students. The last magical home on our list comes from the Peyroux family, and the newly welcomed back Abbie Peyroux.
Charmed and hidden by muggles in the mountains of Scafell Pike. Peyroux have devoted their lives hiding this home from Muggles. The land which the house was placed on was surrounded by endless trees, mountains, and flowers. A few magical creatures can be seen running the forest around the old home.
Due to family problems, Mrs. Sophia Peyroux has asked us to only stay in the living room and greenhouse. In the living room it is dressed with astrology instruments from the youngest loving Astrology, including two large brass deers made by the now deceased father of the Peyroux children Alexander Peyroux. The Ebony fireplace was handcrafted by Sir Abel Peyroux in 1843, the fireplace is trimmed with gold pieces to match the painted portrait of one of the first Peyroux members who was an escaped slave, Adalyn Peyroux who died at the age of 59 from a faitule dueling.
Is filled with hanging vines and has a few planted aloe vera plants and other magical plants that is taken care of by Astrid Peyroux. Those whom have visited the home can see the depression from mother Sophia after her late husband passed.
A beautiful centerpiece of the land that has a 100 year old oak tree placed in the middle of it, sitting atop a hill that is in front of the crying fall which most say at night you could hear the voice of a crying woman on top of the fall some say it is Anias Peyroux looking for her children.
We weren’t given a lot of information for the cemetery for some reason but we were told that it held over 20 deceased Peyroux members and a half a mile long catacomb.
