Although it’s Summer-time, the students and members of the Owl Post are always working to keep you connected. Homes and especially your bedrooms, as everyone knows, are places of sanctuary and privacy, where you can truly express yourself. A person’s home shows how their everyday life goes, and their bedrooms speak volumes about their personalities. So, we’re visiting and showcasing the homes, bedrooms, and even yards of our dear students. The next magical home on our list comes from Bonnie Nishi, a seventh year Ravenclaw.
The Starkweather family home is located near Windermere the trees and surrounding forest are home to some magical
creatues, unicorns known to rest in the clearings. While it was once primarily used as a summer home it’s in the process of
being converted into a permanent residence for Bonnie Nishi between terms and work. The workshop is located on the beach along with a small training room under the patio.
The lower courtyard and guest room are just out the door from the dining area. The lower courtyard acts as a laundry area.
The entrance from the floo is the dining area which holds the central stairs as well as the kitchen.
Beneath the castle is the basement. This is used as a potion’s labratory as well as as a summer office.
The study has various items of interest as well as well as being a comfortable place to rest and chat. The middle courtyard
is accessible through here.
Bonnie’s room! The upper courtyard is accessible through the stairs in this room.
The middle courtyard is a garden and a lovely place to have tea in the spring or summer.
The upper courtyard serves the same purpose as the middle courtyard, but, is more geared towards lazy reading in the sun.
Editor’s Note: If YOU would like to showcase your own home or bedroom, please contact Julia Vitrac (justinecannibis) or Persephone Vitrac (alexis1oreily) by owl to work out the details.
