Hello dear readers! Today’s article, as always, is sponsored by WonderWitch. WonderWitch: Bringing love into your life since 1952. The product for this week is very fittingly Patented Daydream Charms. Want to escape from your problems, or maybe you want to stop thinking about exams for a bit? This your ticket to a temporary vacation! Our question for today comes from a reader suffering from a deep conflict.
Q: My girlfriend and I have become distant and she keeps saying it’s her studies. I’m not convinced that’s the case. I don’t know if I want to wait till summer to find out. Should I break up with her or just wait till summer when the exams are over?
A: Well, it could very well be exams. On the chance that it is, perhaps waiting until they are over will give you guys the chance to talk about it and clear the air and any misunderstandings that may have been had. However, if you feel you are not being treated fairly in the relationship and if you feel there is nothing left to salvage, waiting could only make it worse. Keep in mind that heartbreak could very well poorly affect someone who is trying to study, and understand the weight of your actions. My advice would be to try talking over it first before making any hasty decisions, but also keep your own well being in mind. In the end, your heart will help you understand what’s best. If you struggle with this, though, I do have a tip. This tip will work well in any situation in which you are having a hard time deciding something!
Take a galleon. Say heads is to break up, and tails is to wait and talk. Flip the coin and accept the answer you are given as though it will be the one you act on, and think deeply about how the outcome has made you feel. This will reveal where you truly stand in the situation, if the choice given to you by the coin makes you happy or if you find yourself unsatisfied.
I wish you luck!
