Although it’s Summer-time, the students and members of the Owl Post are always working to keep you connected. Homes and especially your bedrooms, as everyone knows, are places of sanctuary and privacy, where you can truly express yourself. A person’s home shows how their everyday life goes, and their bedrooms speak volumes about their personalities. So, we’re visiting and showcasing the homes, bedrooms, and even yards of our dear students. Asking for willing parties, today’s home we present to you, belongs to one of our brilliant Ravenclaw students, Sol Valor.
Welcome to the Valor’s getaway cottage. Where pines sway and wildlife roam. This is a place I call home!
Unlike the bustling city of London, I like to spend my days fishing with my grandfather on our weathered dock. This is my favorite place to read folklore and many other adventurous novels. You might see a whale beyond the horizon if you look hard enough! I’ve only fallen in once… maybe twice?
We just moved in and have more to unpack! However, this is where I spend my time jamming to tunes, creating the craziest outfits, or dreaming about the next Quidditch match. My daily agenda isn’t consistent.
There are a few things I always keep close. Photos of my friends and family are a must. I have to have my books, and last but not least moisturizer. Its weird I know, but gotta keep those cheeks soft! Especially with the frigid dry weather during the winter.
Despite lacking skill in potions, cooking can be quite fun! I really enjoy making Lefse (A Norse dish). If I’m feeling confident I might make some homemade tea. There are so many natural resources to use. A lot of what we eat grows in our backyard.
Editor’s Note: If YOU would like to showcase your own home or bedroom, please contact Persephone Vitrac (alexis1oreily) by owl to work out the details.
