Aspen, unicorn tail hair, thirteen and three quarter inches, whippy. Let us give a warm welcome to our new Deputy Headmistress, Professor O’Keeffe, and her telling wand. What better way for us to get to know the latest addition to Hogwarts staff? So, let us begin!
Aspen is a marvelous wood with many distinctive traits. It is beautiful and almost like ivory, as is the professor’s wand overall, but there is much to be said of its strength, as well. Aspen is skilled in charmswork, as is its owner. The duo is bound to excel in duels and belongs in the hand of an exceptional duelist, or someone with the potential to be such. As a personal observation, O’Keeffe hardly seems the sort of witch to ignore her potential, so she is likely an excellent and talented duelist.
Aspen wands find a watch in those with strong minds and notable determination. They’ve often been called the wands of revolutionaries. As such, it’s safe to expect our new Deputy Headmistress will be dedicated to her job and to the positive progression of our school.
Wands never lie, so let the usual suspicions die. Professor O’Keeffe possesses a unicorn hair core, so you’ve no good reason to worry about the Dark Arts from her. Her wand is in excellent shape and a beauty to behold, where unicorn core wands can suffer visibly and performance-wise from being morally mishandled.
The length could perhaps speak to her stature, but as always, also speaks to her character. When taking her wand wood and core into consideration, the length further proves a strength of character we can look forward to from Professor O’Keeffe.
Lastly, the flexibility is incredibly adaptive and graceful, whippy to be precise. This shows an ability to change and adapt far beyond most. This is an especially good quality to have in helping to run a school and work alongside people of so many different personalities and backgrounds.
Overall, a duo of this nature isn’t stubborn but is very strong of mind and skill. They’re a beautiful match you’d be lucky to spectate in a dueling match. Most importantly, they are strong of character and possess many qualities that hint at morality.
Love: In dealing with this sort of duo, you must not be too stubborn or too timid. They’re strong and flexible, so be prepared to offer them the same. Toss aside your fear of change and get ready for a revolution.
Compatibility: You’ll find a great match in yew or rowan, as both perform well in duels. This may give you a great challenge and keep you on your toes. Rowan and yew also make for powerful wands with the potential to be fiercely protective, matching with wizards who aren’t fearful and can offer strong support of your revolution.
Academics: Pay careful attention in Charms if you’ve a wand like this. You’ll go far with your spellwork. Be sure to try out for the dueling team or at least partake in sanctioned, friendly duels.
Life: Consider Ministry or Hogwarts careers. You’ll want to have enough authority that you can be a catalyst for positive change.
