Write a report on an alchemist from the past whom you admire. Explain what they have done and why you admire them. Briefly touch on their background and what you believe they wanted to accomplish. Imagine if you will a conversation you would have with them and what you would like to talk with them about. At least five rolls of parchment (five paragraphs), in your own words. Due the sixth class.
Extra credit: You can create an imagined roleplay between you and your chosen famous alchemist for this as part of the report as well. Please be creative with this.

Make a list of as many different wand woods as you can find in the castle. Both in wand form and in other forms. Ask all your friends what wood they have, try to identify trees and things made of wood about the castle.

Write a short essay on the substance used for the core of your wand. You answer should include at least i) two pieces of parchment (paragraphs) on the origins and properties of the core, including any details known about its interaction with wand woods, and ii) one piece of parchment on why you think a wand with this core might have chosen you.
